This is the description for the auction - I originally built the layout for my son.
Includes 3 locos, all rolling stock, electronic control, in fact, everything.
Will fit onto any table top - only 36" x 56" - yet being N gauge gives a complete dual loop layout with two stations, etc.
Remember, being N gauge, it is half the size of the normal 00 gauge used in most train sets.

Just plug in and go!
And when you want to store it away it is only 7" deep and can be stored flat or on its side or end.
Only by looking closely at the following pictures can you judge the quality and value of this layout.
Details:
Dimensions:
56" (143cm)long, 36" (92cm)wide by a total (including trees) of 7" (18cm) high.
Track:
All fixed to soft board, soldered and isolated as necessary, ballasted throughout.
All points (8) are electric, operated from the built-in control panel.
To aid positive point operation a capacitor booster is built into the system.

Control:
Individual sections/sidings are individually switched using the built-in control panel. Also built in is an electronic "track cleaner".
Includes electronic speed/direction control on a long trailing lead to allow operation/viewing form any position around the board. The only thing remaining is to set up are the controls and operation of the turntable and its sidings (included are the geared motor, switches, etc).

To sum up:
Ready to run (operated successfully by eight to eighty year olds).
Amazingly compact for such a comprehensive layout.
Individual components would cost loads even without the landscaping and assembly.
Will fit in virtually any family hatchback (it's even been in a Fiat Cinquecento!).
I suggest that the buyer collects given the nature of the sale and I would be able to show the layout working and given instructions if needed..
